Vision:
Encouraging parish youth toward dynamic encounter with Christ and empowering a community of young disciples.
Core components:
ENCOURAGE - Engaging with the Catholic faith in youth requires great encouragement. St. Simon Youth Ministry offers the parish community the opportunity to encourage young people to enter the youth ministry program through financial, social, spiritual, and pastoral activity. We also encourage them to enter a community focused on building discipleship.ENCOUNTER - Encounter and relationship with Christ are central components of our faith and essential to sustaining it. Retreats, weekly programming, and conferences provide the young people of our parish with opportunities to encounter Christ in their own time and in their own way.
EMPOWER - Empowering young people to take control of their faith, to share their faith with others, and to lead others to Christ is the end goal of our program. Leadership opportunities within our programming, retreats, and conferences are the foundation and inspiration that drives participants to deepen their faith and share it with others.
