Our parish elementary school provides a complete curriculum for grades K - 8 and offers two classrooms for each grade level. Enrollment includes students from St. Simon the Apostle parish and Mary Morther of the Church parish, which does not operate a parish elementary school. We have school families from South St. Louis County, St. Louis City, Fenton, Arnold, Imperial and from across the river in Illinois.
The philosophy is centered on teaching Catholic doctrine, building a Christian community and helping students acquire skills and virtues for effective service to others. The curriculum includes Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Technology, Music, Art, and Physical Education. Our Learning Consultant is on staff to help meet the needs of all students. Our goal is to give each individual student the help they need and to make every student a success. Our school counselor offers counseling services - one of the many opportunities at school to help our students thrive and grow to their potential.
All students (grades K through 8) and staff attend Mass twice a week and we welcome parents and friends to join us for Liturgy. St. Simon the Apostle Catholic School is accredited by the Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Associion recognized by the Missouri Department of Education.
